Individuals with disabilities make up one of the largest minority groups in the U.S. and reside on the fringe of society. They have the highest rates of unemployment, physical inactivity and poorer health status compared to any other subgroup. They fare worse across a broad range of health indicators and the social determinants of health than the nondisabled population. Often, communities are unaware how to modify programs so that youth and adults with disabilities can be included in activities that promote positive health outcomes. Join us for a conversation on why inclusion matters, how it works and what Cuyahoga County programs Adaptive Sports Ohio offers.

About Adaptive Sports Ohio: We remove barriers to ensure that individuals with physical disabilities have a chance to play, and utilize sport to elevate ability and empower futures.
