It’s OK NOT To Be OK. And it’s OK to talk about it, especially as we all navigate daily challenges and our changing world.
On Thursday, July 29th gather for an open and community minded conversation focused on the responsibility we all have to listen, to refer, and to support. All to end the stigma of reaching out for mental health care.
Not enough people are getting the help they need, despite how vital it is to our well-being. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. And now, more than ever it is critical to evaluate how we as a community are coping.
Are you someone that people like to talk to? Or someone often confides in you? Does the nature of your profession lend itself to lots of chit-chat and conversation where you realize someone may need some extra help?
We will discuss, encourage, and empower one another to guide those in the community who may need more information about the signs of mental health issues, the courage to talk about it, and the direction to make a referral.
