HFLA of Northeast Ohio has been working towards economic empowerment for 117 years. What started as a small fund to support those coming to the New World, has turned into a fund that helps residents through short-term financial emergencies, reach their academic goals, or fulfill a dream of opening their own business. Over 60% of our borrowers are women, a trend we have seen play out for a long time.
